- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My first visit to Ginger and Browns was spontaneous: I just happened to have a few minutes of free time at. Blakemere so popped in to check it out. I fee my rehomed Labradoodle a clean kibble-based diet with appropriate treats. The shop stocked pretty much everything I'd give my furry girl and were really helpful when I asked about a couple of other items, offering to source them for me. Rachel, one of the owners has a degree in BioVet Science; the other owner, Josh, a degree in Animal Welfare so they know their stuff. The stock is price matched to a big animal care chain but shorter journey times for me mean a cost saving in time and fuel. A spontaneous visit resulted in a large bag of purchases, a happy dog, a happy owner, and a resolution to return to support an ethically motivated independent supplier.
